UPGRADABLE BY DESIGN

The hardware architecture of the Altitude32, unique among home theater processors, challenges the concept of obsolescence by enabling the integration of new technologies, new features, and product upgrades through a pure software implementation provided at no cost to Altitude owners. This is a truly sustainable product that gets better over time with the introduction of new features and a scalable, modular hardware design that enables easy system expansion up to the full channel counts of home Atmos and DTS:X and to a maximum of 64 independently processed channels with an Altitude48ext .

Its revolutionary hardware architecture runs not on the multiple sets of DSPs found on other processors but instead on a single multi-core Intel hardware platform which runs theTrinnovOS operating system. This enables Trinnov to bring new technologies and features to market months and years ahead of the competition.

The Altitude32 now supports 36 Channels with a free software update, This feature increases the capacity of the Altitude32. By enabling the use of 4x AES/EBU outputs in addition to the analog outputs, this further unleashes the potential of the Altitude32. You can now add extra 4x additional subwoofers or channels to your system to increase its performance.

Dolby Atmos

The Altitude32 remains the only AV Processor on the market capable of decoding and rendering Dolby Atmos Home content in its full 24.x.10 channel count.

It's been capable of doing so since 2015, years before competition.

With the Altitude48Ext and its extra processing power, we can support up to 64 outputs.

DTS:X Pro

In 2019, Trinnov worked closely with DTS to introduce DTS:X Pro to the consumer market.

Altitude owners enjoyed this major upgrade a year before the competitors could offer it.

The Altitude32 is the only processor capable of native rendering and upmixing with DTS's full count of 30.2 channels, delivering the highest spatial resolution with all content.

Auro-3D

The founders of Trinnov and Auro-Technologies know each other well, having been at the forefront of immersive sound research and development dating back to the early 2000s.

Up to 13.1 channel configuration has been available on the Altitude32 since 2015. The popular Auro-Matic upmixer is also supported for all inputs.

IMMERSIVE SOUND UNLEASHED

Amplitude8

Maximizes the performance of their class D modules with custom dual power supply and heat dissipation design.

SMALL BUT MIGHTY

In its base model, it is a 8-channel power amplifier with a power rating of 225W/channel at 8 ohms and 375W/channel at 4 ohms, as well as 500W into 2 ohms.

Think of this 8-channel class-D power amplifier as two high-output four-channel amplifiers on a single chassis, each with its own power supply.

Maximizes the performance of their class D modules with custom dual power supply and heat dissipation design.

THE BRIDGE TO POWER

In its base model, it is a 16-channel power amplifier with a power rating of 200W/channel at 8 ohms and 400W/channel at 4 ohms.

Going beyond, the Amplitude16 provides the integrator with the option to bridge pairs of amplifier channels to increase available power for specific outputs.

This enables the integrator to maximize power for the channels with the greatest demand (left, center, and right screen channels).

In bridged mode, the power increases to 800W/channel at 8 ohms and over 1,000W/channel at 4 ohms.

THE PERFECT COMBO

The Altitude32 can be unlocked to deliver up to 48 individual outputs. This is made possible by enabling its 32 analog and 16 digital outputs simultaneously. For a total of 64 processing outputs.

It allows – for the first time – users to experience the full Home Atmos experience with its 24.X.10 layout, While still allowing more possibilities in terms of bass management or multi-amping and remapping.

WAVEFORMING

WaveForming completely redefines low-frequency reproduction in home cinemas: a new algorithm combined with home theater design guidelines and recommended practices to deliver an unprecedented level of performance and an entirely new bass experience, free of room modes.

The development of this new groundbreaking innovation from Trinnov Audio started more than 6 years ago and truly sets a new reference in low-frequency reproduction.

HOW DOES WAVEFORMING WORK?

Trinnov WaveForming is an advanced audio technology that revolutionizes the way low frequencies are managed and reproduced in listening spaces, particularly in home theaters. The technology uses a combination of hardware and software to control sound wave propagation and absorption, thereby dramatically improving audio clarity, impact, and consistency across different seating areas.

WaveForming operates by using what's called a Multiple Source Multiple Controller (MSMC) approach. This method involves deploying multiple subwoofers strategically around the room to act not just as sound sources but also as controllers that can absorb and cancel out unwanted sound reflections and resonances. This process is meticulously tuned using 3D acoustic field measurements, ensuring that the audio output is optimized for natural-sounding low frequencies without synthetic artifacts.

One of the key features of WaveForming is its ability to address the challenges posed by room modes—low-frequency resonances that are common in enclosed spaces. Traditional solutions like beamforming and waveguides often fall short in fully addressing these issues, especially those caused by sound waves bouncing back and forth between the front and back walls. WaveForming's innovative approach places additional subwoofers at the back of the room to interact with the front subwoofers, thus effectively managing these longitudinal modes.

Additionally, the WaveForming technology emphasizes seat-to-seat consistency, ensuring that all listeners experience the same quality of sound regardless of their position in the room. This is particularly significant for home cinema environments, where audience members may be spread out across different locations.

Trinnov has introduced new features such as the Pressurization mode, which enhances the impact and efficiency of the bass down to very low frequencies, making the listening experience even more profound and immersive.
