£60K Home Cinema in a luxury villa

Time-lapse video showing the transformation of a basement into a home cinema. This Art deco style home theater took about 4 weeks to install, but our time-lapse shows the whole process in just a few minutes. We think it's the best home cinema timelapse on youtube. We hope that this film will help with Art Deco home cinema ideas and provide inspiration on how to build a bespoke cinema room. The room has a 7:2:2 Dolby Atmos speaker configuration, with hidden speakers and acoustic treatments throughout. The 4K projector is a JVC- DLA-N5 with motorised zoom, focus and lens shift plus lens memories and a 2.35:1 acoustically transparent projection screen. Absolutely everything is controlled from an in wall touch screen and also from the client's iphone. This includes control of the fibre optic star ceiling from www.starscape.co.uk and the colour changing led strip lighting. The budget for a similar home theatre room transformation would be about $85000 US including design work, seats ,4K projector, Dolby Atmos sound , acoustic treatments and RGBW LED lighting. The interior design includes bespoke laser cut gold columns which house some of the speakers and also some of the acoustic treatments. The commentary on the film includes lots of detail about how and why certain design decisions were made and we hope it will provide inspiration to anyone wanting to build a Cinema or media room. The project took place in a stunning villa on the French Riviera - The finished home cinema room is about 6 metres from front to back and slightly over 4 metres wide. Seating was supplied by Home Cinema Modules.
