This remarkable project showcases a fusion of masterful craftsmanship and modern design elements.
Our team of experts painstakingly constructed eight bespoke wooden speaker columns, which were meticulously designed using CAD software and then expertly assembled on-site by our talented carpenters. The columns were elegantly finished in a luxurious gold which was professionally applied, enhancing the room's atmosphere while also discreetly housing the Dali speakers within.
The walls and doors, were lined in a soft beige suede, which radiate sophistication and comfort, enveloping the space in a welcoming embrace.
The seating layout is tailored for both elegance and relaxation, with each seat upholstered in imported suede to match the walls, for a touch of refinement.
A custom three-tiered riser, was exclusively designed for the rear seating area, promises a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience.
The front row features four sumptuous seats - two elegant single chairs flanking a central loveseat - inviting guests to luxuriate in style and opulence. Completing the ambience is a captivating dual star ceiling, casting a celestial charm that elevates the room to a truly magical realm.
A Vision of Luxury: From Concept to Reality
Nestled in the serene woodlands of rural West Berkshire, our clients envisioned a home cinema that seamlessly blended cutting-edge technology with timeless elegance. Transforming the basement of their stunning 12,000 sq. ft. estate, we created a space where sophistication meets immersion, crafting a cinematic masterpiece. From the outset, our design team worked closely with the clients to understand their aspirations. Through detailed CAD drawings, we translated this vision into a precise and functional plan, ensuring every detail, from seating layout to material finishes, was perfectly aligned.The room’s foundation was carefully prepared with battened walls to support a luxurious soft beige suede finish, chosen for its acoustic and aesthetic qualities. This fabric, paired with bespoke carpentry, envelops the space in warmth and refinement. Key to the design are eight handcrafted gold-toned wooden speaker columns that house six DALI Phantom H-80R speakers, blending flawless sound with understated opulence. Integrated LED lighting, controlled via the advanced Control4 system, completes the ambiance, offering seamless transitions for any mood or occasion.
Immersive Technology: Exceptional Audio and Visuals
This luxury home cinema delivers an unparalleled auditory experience with a state-of-the-art 9.4.4 DALI speaker configuration, powered by the Anthem MRX 1140 AV receiver. Three DALI Phantom M-375 front speakers, four 10-inch in-wall subwoofers, and strategically placed surround and height channels create a soundscape that immerses viewers in every scene. The audio system combines with the visual brilliance of a JVC DLA NP5 4K HDR projector and a 170-inch acoustically transparent screen, boasting a cinematic 2.35:1 aspect ratio. Hidden LCR speakers behind the screen ensure pristine sound and a minimalist aesthetic.
Adding a celestial touch is a dual fibre-optic star ceiling, designed to mimic the night sky. Crafted with Starscapes Star Ceiling panels, this feature elevates the room's ambiance, enhancing every moment with its ethereal beauty. Fully adjustable via Control4, the lighting, along with the room's technology, ensures a seamless, immersive experience tailored to the client's desires.
Luxury Comfort and Seamless Integration
Comfort and design harmonize with a bespoke seating arrangement of ten plush chairs upholstered in the same suede as the walls. A custom three-tiered riser system ensures perfect sightlines for every guest, with the front row featuring a central loveseat flanked by elegant single chairs. The seamless integration of technology extends beyond the cinema, with a whole-home Denon HEOS audio system delivering high-quality sound throughout the property.
